Lucien Terras Inc., founded in 2011 by French-born Lucien Terras on the Lower East Side, is a project space dedicated to highlighting the work of mid-career and established artists who are engaged in multiple institutional and public projects, with an emphasis on cross-disciplinary practices. With over 20 years of experience in the art world, Terras has nurtured deep relationships with artists, curators, and institutions and is active on both the primary and secondary markets, advising private clients on their collections. He splits his time working as Institutional and Museum liaison at Galerie Perrotin on the Upper East Side.

From 1996 until 2011, Lucien Terras was the co-owner of D’Amelio Terras gallery located at 525 West 22nd Street in Chelsea. D’Amelio Terras was part of the first wave of galleries to open in Chelsea and is known for its groundbreaking programming, showing the work of Polly Apfelbaum, Delia Brown, Tony Feher, Roland Flexner, Joanne Greenbaum, Leslie Hewitt, Matt Keegan, Glenn Ligon, Robert Moskowitz, Shirin Neshat, and Cornelia Parker, among others. Prior to opening his own gallery, Terras served as director at Paula Cooper Gallery in New York and worked at Galerie Yvon Lambert in Paris.
