LESLIE HEWITT

Leslie Hewitt is a New York based artist who received her BFA from The Cooper Union in 2000 and went on to earn an MFA from Yale University in 2004. Hewitt was a participant in the 2008 Whitney Biennial and has been featured in numerous group exhibitions including the Museum of Modern Art’s New Photography 2009.  She has held residencies at The American Academy in Berlin, The Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University, and The Studio Museum in Harlem, amongst others, and was the 2010 recipient of the Joyce Alexander Wein Prize. Her work is in numerous public collections, including the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York; the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Los Angeles; and Walker Art Center, Minneapolis, MN.

 

BRADFORD YOUNG

Bradford Young is a cinematographer who received his BA and MFA from Howard University. His recent contributions include independent cinemas such as Middle of Nowhere, PariahMississippi DamnedEntre Nos and Restless City. Young won the US Dramatic Cinematography Award at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival for his work on Pariah and was named “25 New Faces of Independent Film” by Filmmaker Magazine.
