D’Amelio Terras is pleased to present an exhibition of works on paper by three artists:
Tony Feher will be having a one-person show of new sculpture at D’Amelio Terras in November. Recent exhibitions include “Hindsight” at the Whitney Museum of American Art, and two solo exhibitions at Mercer Union in Toronto and at the Addison Gallery of American Art in Massachusetts. Mr. Feher was born in 1956; he lives and works in New York City.
Christian Marclay has been performing and recording music since 1979. Using phonograph records as his instruments, he mixes altered records on multiple turntables in a display of precise and abusive manipulations. He has performed throughout Europe, Japan, Canada, the United States and in New York City where he lives. His first recording from 1985, “Record without a Cover,” was just re-released on Locus Solus Japan. A new collaboration with Otomo Yoshihide will be released on Asphodel Records in January, as well as a duo with Elliott Sharp on the label Intakt.
Rei Naito is currently having a one-person show at the Koyanagi Gallery in Tokyo. She is also working on a permanent installtion for the Naoshima Contemporary Art Museum in Japan. Recent projects include a site-specific installation at The Carmelite Cloisters Gallery in Frankfurt am Main and an installation in the Japanese pavilion at the 47th Venice Biennale. Ms. Naito was born in Hiroshima, Japan, in 1961. She lives and works in New York.
