D’Amelio Terras, New York

D’Amelio Terras will present its second one person exhibition of Japanese artist Rei Naito from 20 March through 18 April, 1998.
Ms. Naito was selected to represent Japan at the last Venice Biennale. She exhibited a sculptural environment “Une Place sur la Terre”” which occupied the entire Japanese Pavilion. In June of 1997, Ms. Naito also exhibited a new sculptural environment “Being Called”” at the Frankfurt Museum Für Moderne Kunst in the Carmelite Monastery Gallery.
Ms. Naito was born in Hiroshima, Japan in 1961. She lives and works in New York.
